Sourdough starter
Maintaining a sourdough starter for only 15 mins per week.
Ingredients
- 30 gram starter
- 30 gram flour (unbleached white)
- 30 gram water (use filtered or spring water)
Instructions
- Remove starter from refrigerator.
- Remove all but 30g of your existing starter (keeping the existing in its jar and discarding the excess).
- Add 30g flour to the starter.
- Add 30g water to the starter.
- Stir starter, flour and water with a chopstick until consistent.
- Put starter in the refrigerator.
- Repeat weekly.
